When you create an account on Stradello, we collect the following personal information: • Username and email address provided during registration • A hashed and salted version of your password — your plaintext password is never stored • Content you voluntarily add, including vehicles in your garage (with optional purchase price, mileage, and notes) and your watchlist We do not collect payment information, government identification, or any sensitive personal data.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to provide and operate the Stradello platform: • To authenticate your account and maintain your session • To store and display your personal garage and watchlist data • To personalize your experience on the platform We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. We do not use your data to serve targeted advertising.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your account data is stored in a secure cloud database (Upstash Redis via Vercel). Passwords are hashed using industry-standard cryptographic methods before storage and are never stored in plaintext. While we implement reasonable security measures, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
Stradello uses a single session cookie (stradello_user_session) to keep you logged in between visits. This cookie is HTTP-only, meaning it cannot be accessed by JavaScript, and expires when you sign out. We also use your browser's localStorage to cache market pricing data temporarily (up to 24 hours) to reduce redundant API requests. 5. Third-Party Services
Stradello integrates with the following third-party services to deliver its functionality: • Vercel — hosting and infrastructure • Upstash Redis — database storage • Perplexity AI — live market pricing data • Anthropic Claude — AI-generated market analysis • Google Fonts — typography These services may process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control how these services handle data beyond our use of their APIs.
6. Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account remains active. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please contact us and we will process your request promptly.
7. Children's Privacy
Stradello is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
